Did you know that zinc has antioxidant properties? Zinc is needed as it supports normal growth and development, it strengthens the immune system and helps heal wounds and damaged skin. Zinc also helps our bodies use carbohydrates protein and fat. It can be found in meat, liver, eggs, seafood, dairy products, cereals and whole grains.

Insurance Coverage

Health insurance companies generally provide coverage for nutrition counselling. Check with your private insurance provider for coverage on services provided by a registered dietitian.
